Louis Vuitton Alma Bag

The grandson of the founder of the French luxury brand Gaston-Louis Vuitton is considered to be the designer who crafted Alma. The inspiration for the trapezoid design was found in the Steamer bag – the favorite accessory of travelers – and Art Deco. In 1934, the Louis Vuitton Alma was born. Inspired by the art deco movement, the Alma is very structured, more so than any other LV, making it a durable city bag. It comes in multiple styles and sizes including the newest addition, the Alma BB, which is a mini version of this iconic bag. Because of its distinct silhouette, both Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn sported the bag, making it the go-to for women with timeless and sophisticated style throughout the ages.

The epi leather is so durable. You can wear it multiple ways in the BB size. LV is guilty of recycling names (ahem… The Coussin). The Louis Vuitton Alma bag was inspired by the art deco movement.

Very little to no signs of soiling on the shoe uppers.Gently UsedShoes have obviously been worn, but no signs of significant wear, abrasions, stains, scratches, or tears on the shoe upper. Some signs of significant wear and abrasion on the edges and/or bottoms of the soles. Possible light soiling of materials on the shoe uppers.

A completely pragmatic interior, adds five stars to this Louis Vuitton Alma Bag. The top zipper opens to reveal a soft microfiber lining with a main storage compartment and an additional patch pocket. The double zip feature helps the bag to open wider, blessing you with a spacious space to store all your necessities for the day. Your small wallet, cash, cards, money and everything is safe here. As 2021 is crawling to its end, the minds of fashion lovers are already looking at the next season trends. On fake bags, the embossing is usually way too deep.

You probably know that the luxury brand has a tendency to increase the prices for its goods, and the bag in 2021 will have a completely different price tag than the very same model just one year ago. It would be a crime to see such a beautiful and sought-after silhouette as the Louis Vuitton Alma bag produced only in one color or material. The French brand knows that fashionistas love this model, that is why the range of leather and non-leather options is enormous. Signs of wear, light soiling or discoloration of materials may be present.

By the way, in this video, we also show how this model looks in different materials and colors. Back then, however, it wasn’t called the Alma. In fact, the details of the earliest Alma encompass a grey area between actual evidence and speculation. Mademoiselle Chanel’s rumored presence in the picture certainly doesn’t make things any clearer (I’ve searched high and low for a picture of the lady with the bag, but with no luck, although this forum might be helpful). What is certain is that Chanel’s version didn’t go into official production until 1934, and that was called the Squire Bag.

For more than a century, the French Fashion House is continuing to balance style and practicality in their designs. In 2010, Louis Vuitton launched theAlma BB, a miniature size which measures 23.5 cm wide and 17.5 cm high. For the first time ever, the Alma was sold together with a removable leather strap that, which means ladies now had a bag with even more utility and versatility. Now, just like how the Speedy came in an elusive Nano size, you might also come across the Nano Alma in Épi leather, measuring just 18 cm by 12 cm, though that’s super rare but sometimes in does pop up online. Or the one in Monogram Canvas that’s just super cute. Good when you need a certificate and you need to know why the bag is authentic/not authentic for any reason, either to sell the bag with the peace of mind or return a fake bag to the seller if you purchased a fake.

The showroom is open from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm. Dior bags know what it feels like to be carried by the hottest actresses and the members of royal families. They should be of premium quality. The zipper can be a dead giveaway if it’s not straight and curls a little. Check the overall quality – the pattern on canvas, the stitching.

High inflation exacerbates UK household financial crisis

According to data released by the Office for National Statistics on February 16, the UK consumer price index (CPI) rose by 5.5% year-on-year in January, setting a new record in nearly 30 years. The UK CPI has remained high for several months. The Bank of England, the central bank of England, said that inflation in the UK will continue to rise and may reach 7.25% in April this year.

Soaring prices continue to increase the burden on people's lives. According to survey data released by the British charity Food Foundation, in January this year, about 4.7 million adults in the UK experienced a "food crisis", which was 20.5% higher than the data in July last year. The foundation also pointed out that 1 in 5 British households had to pay for the necessary energy bills with the money saved by reducing the quantity and quality of food.

Vicky Lowe manages a charity in Newtown. She said that as food and energy prices continue to soar, the queues to receive free food have grown longer this year. "Half an hour before opening, people are already queuing. Many of the people who receive food are working, but they are increasingly feeling their wallets are tight." A report released by the public opinion polling company recently showed that more than 80% of the British people are concerned about energy costs and rising grocery prices, and more than 40% of respondents said that household financial conditions may deteriorate this year.

The UK National Institute for Economic and Social Research said recently that the main reason for this round of inflation is fuel and food prices. Grant Fitzner, chief economist at the Office for National Statistics, believes that rising prices for clothing and footwear are driving up inflation, and rising costs for some household goods and rents are also contributing to the trend. UK electricity and gas bills rose 18.8% and 28.1% year-on-year in December last year, the biggest increases since 2009. Food prices rose 4.2 percent year-on-year, the largest increase in eight years. Britain's energy market regulator announced earlier this month that energy price caps will rise by 54% from April, a policy that will affect about 22 million households and cost each British household an extra £693 a year for this alone.

The Bank of England said the disposable income of British households had been squeezed the most in 30 years, driven by high inflation, slowing economic growth, rising unemployment and higher tax rates. Household disposable income is expected to fall by 2% in 2022, followed by a further 0.5% decline in 2023.

The British government has introduced a combination of measures such as partial relief or delay in paying household energy bills, in order to ease the pressure on people's living costs. Martin Wolf, chief economic commentator of the British "Financial Times", wrote in an article that the relevant government measures are limited to ease the pressure on household energy expenditure, and no special measures have been introduced for low-income households with a high proportion of energy expenditure.

The Bank of England recently announced that it will raise its benchmark interest rate from 0.25% to 0.5%. Analysts believe that the Bank of England may raise interest rates again in the near future. Suren Thirou, head of economic research at the British Chamber of Commerce, said the Bank of England is seeking to control inflation, but rising energy costs and continued supply chain crises are the triggers for this round of high inflation, and interest rate hikes have limited effect.

What You Obviously Haven't Ever Being Told About Private Investigation

In Michigan, private investigation is inculted in people from childhood. They watch it on television and read it in books. Before any child becomes an adult in Michigan the fundamentals of private investigation would have been learnt thoroughly.

There are lots of factors to put into consideration when choosing a private investigation agency. You need to check the size of the agency. Generally large agencies have a good number of investigators. In most cases each of them specializes in different forms of service.

During private investigation, defensive equipment are often useds. In a state where firearms are allowed, private investigators us guns to defend themselves. Where firearms are not allowed, non-weapons like stun gun and yawara-bo are used.

Private investigation job can be done on a part time basis. This is common among people who have interest in private investigation and who are into another career. This might be stressful but if you have passion for it, you can plan your time in such a way that your investigation job does not clash with the other career.

In view of the importance of information, many people seek the services of private investigators. They assist people to get information that will enable them make certain decision in life. The information could affect their personal life, family or business.

The television sometimes portray private investigators as people who get involved in less serious job. In the real sense the job is far from it. Private investigation is one of the most dangerous jobs. This is because it has to do with digging out secrets.

People with backgrounds in criminology can make good private investigators. Findings have shown that many private investigators are from some branches of the military. This however, does not mean that it is only people with backgrounds in criminology that make the best private investigators. Some people are naturally gifted with the analytical mind to do so.

There is improvement in the tools used for private investigation. Unlike years back when bulky and less sophisticated tools were used for investigation, better and complex tools are begin used. Some of them are very tiny that nobody traces them, yet they are very effective.

Fruits of Signing with Umbrella Service Companies

Freelancers and contractors enjoy the freedom of flexibility from working for a fixed employer. But what most people don’t know is that this also involves a lot of trouble, including accounting for taxes, handling the paperwork and documentation, and the like.

Freelancers can always sign up as self-employed, and pay an accountant to do taxes every year. Or they can create limited liability corporations, to shield themselves from legal liabilities, and to save up on taxes (because corporations have more allowed deductibles). But then there is big paperwork involved, and the costs might offset the potential benefits.

One solution would be to sign up for an umbrella company. The main benefit of signing up under an umbrella service is that the administrative work is taken care of. One way to look at ti is that umbrella services can be considered as the shock absorbers of any company-contractor relationship, because they handle all the paper work and free their clients from the legalese that could get them into trouble.

The advantages are perhaps best determined through cost-benefit analysis. These days, companies are trying to minimize costs, and one way of doing this is by contracting out services to competent firms and individuals, rather than doing everything in-house. The good thing about doing this is that companies only pay for the services that contractors render, and they don’t pay for any dead weight loss (meaning employees who are paid by the hour, but don’t put in much output).

And for the professional or freelancer, umbrella services offer the best of both worlds. You are still flexible, in that companies hire your services, but don’t lock you in. But you don’t have to worry about the burden of doing the accounting and lawyering for yourself.

But overall, it should be checking out the advantages through cost-benefit analysis. One thing that companies are afraid of is additional costs since it is a fact that umbrella services are bound to cost a lot. But considering the woes that are taken off your shoulders, not to mention the workload as well, such should not be a problem considering it is better than encountering losses.

The good thing about paying for an umbrella service is that you have a chance of continuing it if things go well or just stop if nothing really falls into place. That is perhaps the contingency measure you can get from it as you can most likely be on safer ground that way. At the rate that business investments today are becoming risky, it would be better to have an escape clause of sorts and umbrella services are there to provide you with that.

So what can you lose from umbrella services aside from money? Well everything looks to work in the favor of a client. As far as quality service is concerned, that can be easily addressed once flaws or unsatisfactory developments sink in. You don’t really have to worry about a business venture on your own when if you want to test the market first before going all out. Rather than risk all and be obliged to carry on business proceedings, umbrella services save you the trouble of making all the wrong investments and decisions and that is something that is bound to lure in a lot of people wanting the best of both worlds in the corporate scene.

France: 3 French Soldiers Killed While on Duty in Libya

PARIS — France's defense minister says three French soldiers have been killed in Libya where France has special forces operating.

In a statement Wednesday, Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian says he "deplores the loss of three soldiers" on duty there, without elaborating.

Officials in Libya said the Islamist militia on Sunday shot down a helicopter near Benghazi.

France's government spokesman Stephane Le Foll on Wednesday gave a rare acknowledgement that there are French special forces operating in the North African country, which has slid into chaos after the uprising that led to the ouster and killing of Moammar Gadhafi in 2011.

The deaths reveal secretive Western military cooperation with the anti-Islamist eastern forces opposed to the U.N.-brokered, Tripoli-based unity government.

May to meet Merkel: UK to relinquish scheduled EU presidency

The UK is to relinquish its upcoming six-month presidency of the European Council as it prepares to leave the EU.

The announcement from No 10 came as Theresa May prepares to meet her German counterpart Angela Merkel for the first time since becoming prime minister.
They will have a working dinner on Wednesday before Mrs May has talks with France's Francois Hollande on Thursday.

Mrs May said maintaining strong trading links in Europe was vital to ensuring the UK "made a success" of Brexit.

Before the trip, Mrs May will face her first Prime Minister's Questions.
She will cross swords with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in the House of Commons for the first time at just after midday in what will be the last PMQs before Parliament breaks up for the summer recess on Thursday.

Live text and video updates on May's first PMQs
The UK had been scheduled to take up the European Council presidency - which rotates on a six-monthly basis between the 28 EU countries, giving each the opportunity to shape the agenda - in the second half of 2017.

But Mrs May has decided that Britain should skip its turn in the light of the Brexit vote in June's referendum

Mrs May told European Council President Donald Tusk - in her first conversation with him as PM - it was "the right thing to do given we will be very busy with negotiations to leave the EU", a Downing Street spokesman said.

Mrs May has already spoken to both Chancellor Merkel and President Hollande on the phone but their first face-to-face meetings over the next two days are seen as highly important in setting the tone for the long and hard negotiations over EU exit that lie ahead.

The prime minister has said she does not expect to commence formal negotiations before the end of the year as she consults with the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish governments as well as business, industry and other stakeholders about the way ahead.

While the German and French leaders have said the UK's vote to leave must be respected and Britain must be given time to formulate its negotiating strategy, both are facing re-election next year and under domestic political pressure to drive a hard bargain.

They have suggested no special exceptions can be made for Britain in terms of continued access to the EU's single market if, as Mrs May has insisted, the UK absents itself from freedom of movement rules.

Ahead of the visit, Downing Street said Mrs May would underline the importance of establishing strong personal relations with her European counterparts and emphasise the value that the UK placed on its economic, trading and security relationships with the two countries and its commitment to continued strong ties outside the EU.

"These visits will be an opportunity to forge a strong working relationship that we can build upon and which I hope to develop with more leaders across the European Union in the weeks and months ahead," she said.

"I do not under-estimate the challenge of negotiating our exit from the European Union and I firmly believe that being able to talk frankly and openly about the issues we face will be an important part of a successful negotiation.

"I also want to deliver a very clear message about the importance we attach to our bilateral relationship with our European partners, not just now but also when we have left the European Union.

"These relationships have been vital in the past and they will be vital in the future as we continue to work together to keep our people safe and to support economic growth that benefits people across our countries."

The German government said the two leaders would also discuss the refugee crisis in Europe and the political situation in Turkey following last Friday's attempted coup.
Mrs Merkel was a strong ally in David Cameron's unsuccessful bid to renegotiate the UK's membership as part of his goal of remaining in a "reformed Europe", although French support for the former PM's effort to secure a special status for the UK in the EU was more lukewarm.

The first time that Mrs May will face all 27 other EU leaders at the same time will be at October's European Council meeting, by which point the UK's strategy and the likely timeframe for talks should be much clearer.

Government lawyers told a court in London on Tuesday that Mrs May had made clear she did not intend to deploy Article 50 before the end of 2016, although Downing Street stressed that this was a decision for the government to make.

What payday loans mean to me

in February, I was given the unlikely opportunity to testify before Congress on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) proposed small-dollar lending rule. My testimony was unlikely because I grew up in public housing, spent time in federal prison for selling drugs – and I’m a satisfied customer of the payday lending industry. Now with the CFBP officially releasing its proposed rule on June 2, a rule that will threaten access to small-dollar loans for millions of Americans just like me, I felt compelled to tell my story and make sure others know the true value these loans have for people in need of short term credit. Mine is a true success story and I owe a great deal of it to the payday lending industry. Without the payday and title loans I was able to get, nothing that I have been able to achieve would have happened.

Ten years ago, I started a commercial cleaning business, Imperial Cleaning Systems, Inc. in my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Today I have 20 employees.

As most small-business owners know, starting your own company isn’t easy. Cash isn’t always available to grow your company, and banks and credit unions don’t make loans less than $1,000 to people like me, or to anyone else for that matter. Access to credit is hard to come by for many small-business owners, but next to impossible for those of us who’ve made mistakes in our past. Personal loans, known as payday and title loans, were my only option to keep my business afloat.

I turned to a local company, Advance Financial, for access to cash through payday and title loans. These loans saved my business and may have saved my life. The CFPB says these loans are too expensive. I’ve found that the most expensive credit is the credit you can’t get.

The federal government is trying to drastically limit the only options millions of Americans like me count on for survival. Eliminating access to small-dollar loans will do more harm than good. While I don’t quite understand this 1,300-page proposed rule, I do understand that 80 percent of non-bank lenders could go out of business according to some studies. I also understand that our communities will suffer and people like me will have nowhere to go for accessible credit.

What about my privacy? The CFPB wants to put my records in a government database for a mere $200 loan. Why should I and the people like me be singled out? The payday loans I have gotten are quick, easy and confidential. The CFPB intends to strip all of that away.

In March, I also testified before Congress about my experience with the payday loan industry. I sat next to a CFPB representative who admittedly had never even been inside a payday loan store. The CFPB claims to be a “21st-century data driven agency” looking to take a “market based approach” to regulation. When I think of a “market based approach” in my business, I think about talking to the customers and finding out what they want. That’s how I effectively meet the needs of my business. Maybe the CFPB should talk to people like me who are being served in this market.

Let me assure you, the individuals who frequent those stores often struggle to make ends meet, but they don’t need the government to make that struggle even more difficult. Any Member of Congress needs to understand the impact this will have on their constituents. You want to take their only option for credit away from them? They will find a way to fill the need. As I said when I testified, “if you don’t have it, you need to go out and get it.” Without companies that are licensed, we will be forced to go to an unregulated lender, or back on the streets.
